Llewyn Davis part 2
So the Jhud pic from my 1st post on the film was regarding artists pressured into changing their outside for the industry. Jhud doesn’t sing differently due to weight change. It doesn’t affect your vocal folds. It was an interesting real life echo of the struggle llewyn faces in the movie. He is told he doesn’t look pretty like Justin Timberlake, so although he’s talented- he’s not going to cut it. Jhud had the fame and the Oscar (which she won in a part she ironically couldn’t be cast in now because she’s to thin) but felt pressured by the weight obsessed industry to become stick thin. 
The cycle of image over talent goes on…
