Dear Katy Perry and Miley Cyrus, please stop.  Black women are off the plantation, (thanks Oprah)  and their bodies are not yours to objectify, grope, grab, or poke at. The days of the Hottentot Venus  (Sarah Baartman)  are over ok? I mean I KNOW black culture and women are so fly it is hard for you to resist cultural appropriation, but STOP IT. Assuming the white supremacist hetero normative male gaze is racist and misogynist -not cool and needs to end yesterday.

Oh and by the way, leave Asian women alone too.

No it is NOT cute when you dress up like a geisha. How about you remember this phrase, “My race is not a costume.” The culture and style and physical features of a race of people belong to them and come out of a rich history. Those things are not a costume for you to put on and take off.
